Course Overview

Legendary British progressive rock band Jethro Tull, led by vocalist and flutist Ian Anderson, first achieved success with a blues album in 1969. After several prog rock albums, the band shifted to hard folk rock with the albums Songs From the Wood and Heavy Horses in the late 70s. Jethro Tull has now sold an estimated 60 million albums worldwide, and a new album, The Zealot Gene, was released in 2022.
