Earn your NM Real Estate License
Albuquerque’s real estate market is on the rise, and now is a great time to start a new career in the real estate industry.
UNM Continuing Education offers a 90-hour pre-licensing program. There are three sections: Real Estate Law (30 hours), Real Estate Principles and Practice (30 hours), and Broker Basics (30 hours). Students will study and discuss all the New Mexico Real Estate Commission’s required topics for the pre-licensing exam.
Successful completion of Real Estate Law, Real Estate Principles and Practice, and Broker Basics satisfies the New Mexico Real Estate Commission’s pre-licensing education requirement and qualifies students to sit for the New Mexico real estate broker licensure examination. This program does not lead to licensure outside of New Mexico.


Real Estate Pre-Licensing programs, including Real Estate Law, Real Estate Principles and Practice, and Broker Basics, are in compliance with New Mexico Real Estate Commission Rules.
Successful completion of the above three courses will qualify a student to sit for the New Mexico real estate broker licensure examination.
This program is designed to meet the educational requirements for real estate licensure in New Mexico and does not lead to licensure outside of New Mexico.
