Trump’s legal problems solidify his base while enhancing his high disapproval ratings in the general population. His narcissism sucks the oxygen from any attempt to fashion a forward-looking Republican agenda. Democratic leadership is in deep denial: Biden’s problem is not messaging. Voters already acknowledge his many accomplishments, but poll after poll reflects that prospective voters view the President’s advanced age as a detriment to a successful second term. We’ll discuss the 2024 election landscape and the impact of two candidates with high negatives and a deeply divided, while increasingly diverse electorate.
