Course Overview

There are three DNA tests now available to the general public which are being used for: finding kin, proving or disproving relationships, catching criminals, exonerating prisoners, identifying found bodies, determining your deep roots called female and male Haplogroups, tracing your roots back to Genetic Eve and Genetic Adam, etc.  These examples are typically using DNA from live subjects or recently deceased subjects. Within the last 10 to 15 years scientists are using these same three tests to learn much about our ancient ancestors including migration patterns, what they ate, died of, etc. Join us and explore DNA surprises discovered in Western Europe, Iceland, New Mexico and Scandinavia.
