Course Overview
This class is ideal for learners who have had some exposure to the French language and want to continue improving their knowledge and understanding of both grammar and vocabulary of this wonderful language. You will also improve your pronunciation skills, and have a great time discovering surprising aspects of French culture.
This 16-hour course is input centric for false and advanced beginners returning to French. We focus on vocabulary development, basic structures, and basic speaking skills through daily reading and pronunciation work.
What You'll Learn
- Continue expanding knowledge of French language and culture.
- Expand repertoire of conversational scenarios to making polite requests and communicating preferences, personal information, free-time activities, and family details.
- Begin learning how to express thoughts, routines, and ideas in the irregular present tense and regular past and future tenses.
Who Should Attend
Students who have successfully completed UNM Continuing Education French I or mastered beginning language concepts.Additional Information
Teaching materials will be provided in class. No need to buy any book.
