Course Overview

This 40-hour course provides instruction strategies for teaching Driver Education in the classroom and behind the wheel. Completion of this training is required in order to be certified to teach Driver Education in either private Driver Education schools or in public schools.

Instructors currently teaching classroom curriculum or behind the wheel on a training waiver, are required to take this course in order to continue teaching.

Who Should Attend

Additional Information

Enrollment will close ten (10) days prior to the start date to allow time to order course material.

It’s important to remember that all training requirements must be met by June 30, 2024, for any new instructor to continue teaching after July 1, 2024.
