38262 - Herbal Medicine Making Immersion
Course Overview
This weekend immersion is designed to give students an in-depth opportunity to deepen their plant medicine making journey. Students will take part in making diverse medicinal formulas such as acidic tinctures, medicated ghees, herbal oils, infused honey, and herbal vinegars for many kinds of ailments. They will come to understand how to safely and ethically work with both fresh and dried herbs, becoming more fluent and confident in making plant medicines. Expect to learn how particular herbs resonate with specific bodily systems and which topical or internal medicines are ideal for what concerns. This course is fully interactive. Students will take part in all the medicine making, as well as take home what they helped make.
Students will learn how to utilize plants safely and ethically as medicine for themselves, their families, and their communities. They will be supported while they make and experiment with in-depth and nuanced herbal remedies. This course is complimentary to the Foundations course (38260). Materials are included in course.
This course is part of the: Holistic Plant Medicine Level I: Foundations (50 hours)
- 38260 & 38262 are required courses for this certificate + any herbalism course.
