Course Overview

Build strength and stamina, and reaction time as well as incorporate muscle memory by practicing self-defense strikes and drills. Each one-hour class includes a mixture of cardiovascular, conditioning exercises led by the instructor. We'll focus on cardiovascular fitness and conditioning using a variety of methods to include boxing, kickboxing, MMA as fitness, and light sparring.

We offer a total of 4 classes per week (including the Saturday striking class). Sunday afternoon Yoga class is also included. Classes are designed to develop speed, strength, fitness, mobility and reaction time. 

A half hour lesson before beginning is required and included.


The Fit 2 Hit classes are: Mon, 5:30pm to 6:30pm, Tues, 5:30pm to 6:30pm, Thursday 5:45pm to 6:45pm

Saturday morning striking class is 10:30am to 11:30am.

Yoga is Sundays beginning Feb 11th 3 to 4pm

What You'll Learn

  • Learn proper form and technique for strikes and self-defense drills. 
  • Gain improved stamina, strength, mobility and reaction time in executing strikes and movements.
  • Learn boxing, kickboxing, defensive blocking, kicking, palm strikes, knee strikes, elbow strikes
  • Gain core, upper body and leg strengthening. 
  • Students will walk away with an improved fitness level. Students will be challenged but encouraged, resulting in more confidence and knowledge of self-defense.

No experience necessary.

Gear (boxing gloves, shin guards and a mouth guard) recommended for the Saturday morning class,

Boxing gloves are required for all the other weekly classes. cost approximately $42

Smart Girl Self Defense will offer a 10% student discount for gear purchase, as well as guidance, to students. Gear is not included in the package,
