Course Overview

Fused glass refers to a piece of glass created by heating two or more pieces of glass together in a kiln. It's used to create beautiful art and more functional pieces such as jewelry, plates and bowls. 

You'll learn the process of glass fusing and all materials are provided for you to create four 5”x 5” coasters. You'll learn to use basic tools, how to cut glass, designing for fusing, how to create accessory accents on the micro torch and layering glass. Each student will receive four 5”x 5” blanks to construct their coaster designs. Materials and tools are included.

The coasters will be ready for pickup within 1 week of the class.

Who Should Attend

This is a Beginner's class. No previous glass experience necessary. All materials and tools are provided. 

Additional Information

  • Wear covered shoes and casual cotton clothing
  • Bring water and a snack 
  • Sketch book and pencil (optional)
