Course Overview

A deeper dive into Ayurveda for those who want to expand their knowledge base. In this course, we will explore some higher-level concepts of Ayurveda as well as aim to ground foundational understanding in more case studies and practical examples. This will include further explorations of the disorders of the various tissue systems (Dhatu-s) as well as strategies used for treatment. This class will also include more hands-on work, such as preparing balancing food and preparing herbal medicines with traditional Ayurvedic techniques. Student should have a basic knowledge (or understanding) of Ayurveda through one’s own study or through taking our Ayurveda Foundations course. 

Participants will gain hands on and in practice understanding of how to utilize Ayurveda to support their health and the health and balance of those in their life. This will include both how to utilize the principles of Ayurveda to come up with support plans and also how to make herbal preparations and Ayurvedic reciples.
