Course Overview

Do you dread doing your bookkeeping, but know it needs to be done? Or, maybe, there are pieces of the job that just don’t make sense to you. Are you wondering how your business is doing, but don’t know how to figure that out? Perhaps you have a bookkeeper and want to understand what they are doing. If any of these sounds like you, this QuickBooks Basics Live Online Course will give you the tools you need.

What You'll Learn

The course objective is to give you the working knowledge of accounting principles and QuickBooks Online so you have the information needed to effectively run your business. The course will cover understanding your Chart of Accounts, managing cash flow, entering transactions and reconciling your accounts, and creating financial reports.

Participants must attend 5 of 6 sessions to receive Digital Badge.

Prerequisites

Computer Competency.

Hardware: Continuous internet access, PC (Windows 8 or later) or Mac, and microphone are required to attend the Live Online session. Webcam is required and must be turned on during session, your participation is important. Recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge browsers.

Software: QuickBooks Online (Essentials or Plus) and an initial familiarity with the online version. 30-day trial version for QuickBooks Essentials or Plus is an option; download two (2) days before start date of course so software available during length of course.

QuickBooks Self Employed software will not work in this course.
