9625 - Conversational Spanish Part I
Course Overview
Improve your Spanish skills in this total immersion language adventure. It’s a great next step if you have a basic to intermediate understanding of grammar and sentence structure but lack speaking skills, vocabulary and confidence. You’ll expand your use of nouns, verbs and parts of speech through context learning . You’ll also complete a Spanish presentation on your choice of topic.
What You'll Learn
- Be confident greeting one another using basic greetings and farewells, expressions of courtesy.
- Express likes and dislikes, requests, restaurant ordering, descriptions and directions.
- Be comfortable making small talk, providing information about yourself, your family, personal belongings and other familiar topics
- Discuss travel, time, weather and leisure activities.
Who Should Attend
Students who have completed at least Spanish I and Spanish II and have intermediate or better Spanish language skills. This is not a beginner's class.Additional Information
