Course Overview

Satire has probably existed as long as has story-telling itself. It has often provided a catalyst for genuine social reform. Through humorous pictures, cartoons, film clips, theatrical presentations and readings, we'll examine the history of Satire from Aristophanes through contemporary times.

Warning: Some of the modern video clips are highly ribald in nature. Not for the easily-offended.
