Course Overview

Get to an advanced level of French with this continuation of French II. You will review conjugations in the present tense, learn how to use reflexive verbs, and study two past tenses (passé composé & imparfait). You’ll also get to boost your conversation skills with a lot of new vocabulary and exercises requiring live interaction with your fellow students.

• Feel comfortable in most routine conversational scenarios.

• Speculate on the nature of life with the Subjunctive and Conditional tenses.

• Continue building vocabulary and using grammatical structures in areas of interest.

• Begin exploring Francophone music and current literature.

Who Should Attend

Students who have successfully completed French II with UNMCE or have equivalent intermediate French language skills.

Teaching materials will be provided in class. No need to buy any book.
