Course Overview

The United States pays more for health care by far than any other nation, yet our health outcomes are mediocre. Costa Rica has a lower infant mortality rate than the US. Taiwan can provide quality healthcare for its entire population and has better health outcomes for one sixth the cost of the US. This discussion will focus on H.R. 3421 – 2023 Medicare for All Act sponsored by Rep. Pramila Jayapal [D-WA-7].
