Course Overview

Think Saturday morning cartoons were just for kids? Think again! The "Golden Age of Cartoons," spanning roughly from 1935 to 1955, produced some of the greatest satirical and comedic animated works ever created. Far from being made solely for children, these animated shorts were crafted for a broad audience. We'll explore the ingenious minds behind this uniquely American art form and discuss how their work reflected and influenced the culture of their time. Did you enjoy our recent member event on Looney Tunes? Get ready for even more new material and a fresh collection of classic cartoons to enjoy!
