Course Overview
If you plan to take a business or sightseeing trip to Japan, start here to make your stay much more rewarding. You’ll learn about the Japanese language and the country’s intriguing culture. This class for beginners focuses on learning grammar, pronunciation, and basic conversational skills.
Required text: Japanese for Busy People, 3rd Edition, available at Amazon or your local bookstore.
What You'll Learn
- Students can participate in conversations on several basic occasions, such as meeting people, shopping, getting around and a weekend excursion by asking and answering simple questions.
- Students can read and write Hiragana (the basic writing system) in a short and simple text.
- Students can have a better understanding of Japanese culture, such as food, cities, daily life, events, and behaviors, etc.
Who Should Attend
