Course Overview

As mental health professionals, counselors often see clients facing significant career transitions— whether it’s job loss, career change, or returning to the workforce— but may not always have the specific tools or frameworks to address these issues effectively.

This professional development course is designed to equip those in the counseling and behavioral health fields with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to assist clients in navigating career transitions. The course will focus on career exploration, resume writing, job search strategies, interview preparation, and identifying reliable occupational data. Counselors will learn how to help clients overcome career-related challenges and empower them with the skills and resources needed to pursue fulfilling career paths.
