38113 - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Test Prep
Course Overview
Prepare to succeed and calm your nerves, by taking this comprehensive test prep course. This course prepares one to take the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) national certification exam. There are many areas of study including: Medical Terminology/Anatomy, CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding that examinees must have a solid understanding of in order to successfully pass the CPC exam. General preparation and test strategies will be reviewed. 100 test questions similar to what in on the real exam will be covered with answers and rationales. Course also includes a mock exam.
This course is for students who have successfully completed the Administrative Medical Coding and Billing program and is designed as preparation for the next step, taking one's national certification exam! The course is also open to anyone who has taken an equivalent course. This is a test prep course, not a coding course. Required to bring your CPT-4, ICD-10 and HCPCS books.
Who Should Attend
Anyone who wants to be prepared for the AAPC certified professional coder (CPC) exam.Prerequisites
Student should have taken CPT-4, ICD-10, HCPCS Level II at UNM Continuing Education or an equivalent program.
