Course Overview

This class is required for all DWI School Facilitators and Owners. It will teach Facilitators and Owners how to teach the State curriculum within the DWI school setting.

The Facilitator’s role is to provide support by helping the DWI School participants to honestly evaluate their drinking and driving behavior and ways to make positive changes through the development of an effective Personal Action Plan.

To verify that you are approved for training, please contact your licensing representative.

Who Should Attend

This class is required for all DWI School Facilitators and Owners.

Additional Information

Training for DWI School Facilitators ONLY and prior approval must be obtained prior to registration, please send an email to Carolyn Kirlin at ckirlin@unm.edu

This course cannot be used to satisfy Drivers Education CEUs.

Enrollment must be completed at least ten (10) days prior to the start date to allow time to order course material.

Certificate of Completion Requirements: must attend 100% of the course.
