Have you ever been captivated by the beauty and mystery of belly dance? Here's your chance to experience it for yourself! Join us for an evening of movement, music, and discovery as we explore the art of belly dance in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

Belly Dance, also known as Raqs Sharqi, is a joyful and expressive dance form that celebrates movement, creativity, and confidence. Whether you're looking for a new way to stay active, connect with your body, or simply try something different, belly dance offers a unique blend of fitness, artistry, and self-expression in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

This one and half hour workshop is the perfect introduction to the fundamentals of belly dance. You'll learn the signature movements and techniques that make this dance so captivating. It's also a wonderful opportunity to sample a class before committing to our six-week fall session.

Who Should Attend

Perfect for beginners, curious newcomers, and anyone interested in learning more about belly dance. No dance experience is required. All ages, body types, and fitness levels are welcome.

Additional Information

No special equipment is needed. Simply wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement, similar to what you might wear to a yoga or fitness class. Coin belts and hip scarves will be available to borrow, so you can add a little shimmer and sparkle to your dancing experience.
