This course is offered in partnership with ed2go Online Education.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a certificate of completion from Everblue. Although Everblue's certification differs from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners® (NABCEP®), this course satisfies the educational requirement for certain NABCEP certification pathways.

This course is not designed to lead directly to state licensure as a solar installer in New Mexico. Solar photovoltaic installation work in New Mexico may require licensure, registration, or supervision under appropriately licensed electrical or contractor professionals, depending on the scope of work performed. Completion of this course alone does not qualify a student for state licensure or certification.

Students intending to work outside New Mexico should contact the appropriate state licensing authority to determine whether this course meets educational requirements and whether additional education, work experience, examinations, registrations, certifications, or licenses may be required.

NABCEP certification is a voluntary industry credential and is not a substitute for any state-required contractor or electrical license.

For more information regarding licensing requirements in New Mexico, please visit the New Mexico Construction Industries Division.

To prepare for the NABCEP certification exam, students may enroll in the NABCEP Certification – PV Installation Professional course, which includes Solar Panel Installer Training, Solar Energy Training content, OSHA 10 training, and dedicated exam preparation.
