Course Overview

Gain hands-on experience and learn everything you need to know to assist pharmacists with prescriptions, patient inquiries, and administrative tasks. Get certified and take the necessary steps to prepare your future as a certified pharmacy technician.

This online pharmacy technician training program will prepare aspiring pharmacy technicians in assisting pharmacists with packing and distributing medication. You will gain access to a comprehensive work experience guide and receive personalized support from our work experience team.

This course offers hands-on learning through an online lab module that provides practical experience in processing orders, identifying correct medication dosing, and sourcing. As a part of this course, you may be eligible to apply for a 100+ hour work Clinical Experience to gain valuable practical experience and further enhance your professional skills.

This pharmacy technician certification course does not meet state requirements for licensure for students intending to work in Florida, Ohio, North Dakota, Utah, Washington, and West Virginia. In addition, this course does not meet Canadian regulatory requirements and does not prepare students for the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC). It is designed for use within the U.S. healthcare system and may not align with licensure or certification standards in Canada.
