5371 - Intermediate Stained Glass
Course Overview
Take your stained-glass skills to the next level with this intermediate workshop focused on precision, technique, and polished finishing.
You will experience all of the different aspects of creating a small stained-glass project in the Louis Comfort Tiffany method. This class will focus on cutting curves. You will also learn grinding of those pieces, as well as copper foiling, soldering and final finishing of your completed piece.
This course is ideal for those who have taken Introduction to Stained Glass or with prior stained-glass experience who are comfortable with basic tools and processes and are ready to improve their craftsmanship.
All materials are included.
What You'll Learn
- Create a beautiful and unique stained-glass piece!
- Understand the different aspects of creating a small stained-glass project in the Louis Comfort Tiffany method
- Learn to cut straight line pieces of glass to integrate into the bevels provided for your project and you will get to choose the colors you want to use
- Learn how to grind glass pieces, as well as copper foiling, soldering and final finishing of your completed piece
