Course Overview

This course will dive deep into mental health from a holistic perspective. Students will learn how emotions can be connected to what people eat and drink. And learn how herbs have been utilized to support and encourage focus, ease, joy, and calm. This course is fully immersive and dynamic, as well as intended to be introspective. Come prepared to learn from the teacher, from the group, and from yourself.  This is a great course for holistic practitioners, as well as curious learners who are interested in learning more about how to practically implement and encourage focus, ease, joy, and calm in one's life. Students will learn how lifestyle habits can hinder or support mental health. Students will come to understand the influences of both plants and the health of the physical body on human psychology.

Expect to explore historical, cultural, and ancestral relationships to well-being, peace, and mental health, as well as touch on the state of the current mental health system and pharmaceutical industries in the United States. Students will learn what they can do to increase and support the health of specific bodily systems. They will come to understand the connections between those specific systems and human psychology.
