Course Overview

T'ai Chi Chih, whose name means "Knowledge of the Supreme Ultimate," is an evidence-based mindfulness movement series designed to circulate and balance the body's natural energy or "chi." Easy to learn, this slow and gentle series of 19 movements and 1 pose often surprises practitioners with its profound and healing effect.

Amy Tyksinski has taught T'ai Chi Chih for 30 years, first in Evanston, IL and then here in Albuquerque when she moved here in 2000. She’s taught in various locations in Albuquerque, adults and adolescents through Albuquerque Academy, as well as offering classes through the Albuquerque T'ai Chi Chih Center. She’s taught nationally in the form of weekend retreats and workshops and during COVID, taught a weekly on-line class open to students internationally.
