Course Overview

Crocheting is a lifelong skill and art form that you'll use to make lovely and personal items to wear, for your home and as thoughtful gifts for others.

Do you have a project that you’ve been wanting to finish?  Or maybe a project where you’re stuck and need some help? This class is designed to feel like a crochet group, where we help each other and learn along the way. We'll begin by learning basic stitches, and then build on those skills to develop a basic knowledge of crochet.

What You'll Learn

  •   Learn about crochet supplies and tools, basic crochet terms, techniques and commonly used stitches.
  • Learn to read patterns.
  • Learn finishing techniques for your crochet projects.
  • Beginners will create gifts based on Random Acts of Crochet Kindness

Who Should Attend

Have you always wanted to learn to crochet? Want to create beautiful items to keep or gift? This class is appropriate for beginners and those who know a few stitches and need help finishing a project.

Additional Information

Bring a pair of scissors.

Beginners: There is a $15 materials fee payable to instructor at first class that will cover supplies and materials you will need to create several gifts.

Intermediates: Bring your own projects including pattern, tools, and supplies.
