Course Overview
We are considered energetic beings because all matter, including our bodies, is made up of atoms and charged particles that vibrate at certain frequencies. This means we are interconnected with the energy fields of the universe and other living things, including other people. As humans, one of our first modes of communication was through touch. Over the centuries, a host of healing and therapeutic methods have been developed that use energetic means with touch or physical proximity. Examples include Reiki, Healing Touch, Polarity Therapy, “Laying on of the Hands" and Charismatic Healing. This class will look at the scientific and historical basis for the above, give examples of the various forms of energetic touch healing and provide self-healing applications and exercises for personal use.What You'll Learn
