Course Overview

How well are you? Living well does not mean you do not get sick or sad. It means you manage it better and move through the down times more readily and less painfully. Developing a wellness perspective on one’s life offers greater personal empowerment and control of one’s health, vitality and quality of living. Living well is a holistic approach to life and focuses on the harnessing of a broad range of factors, sources of energy, to improve overall functioning. The eight components of wellness we will explore together include: Emotional, Spiritual, Physical, Social, Financial, Occupational, Intellectual and Environmental. The class will include a self-assessment, personal and group exercises, lots of interaction and the creation of a personal wellness development plan.
