Course Overview

In this two-session virtual workshop we will learn the art of bangle making in a variety of gauge thicknesses and patterns with a simple forming tool known as the bracelet press. This handy and versatile tool can bend wire up to 10 gauge thickness in repetitive and sinuous patterns efficiently and consistently. Applications for creativity are endless and extend beyond just bangles!

Explore making a set of stacking bracelets, fused element cuffs, or multi-element hoop earrings! Simple, fun, and effective!

Appropriate for all levels. No experience is needed.

Materials & Tools 

The following supplies will be used for course demonstrations and objectives. A suggested item and/or vendor has been provided below for reference. If ordering, please be aware that some items may come in larger quantities than needed for this class. We recommend not opening an item's packaging until the day of the workshop. Student participation during or in-between class sessions is strongly encouraged but not required - observers are welcome.

  • 12" min. x Argentium® round wire - 18g dead soft (Rio Grande)

  • 12" min. x Argentium® round wire - 16g dead soft (Rio Grande)

  • 12" min. x Argentium® round wire - 14g dead soft (Rio Grande)

  • hard work surface

  • fan and open window - or ventilation system
