Course Overview

How to build a company culture depends on understanding what organizational culture is. Without getting overly philosophical, we will discuss several established definitions and what they are good for. Then we will learn how to identify the company's characteristics, separate and distinct from the cultural characteristics of individuals within the company. Each student will pick out which characteristics of company culture to keep and which to change, and perhaps some to overcome or eliminate. We will address resistance to change, and how to include all the people in the process.
