Course Overview

Belly Dance, or Raqs Sharqi, is one of the oldest forms of dance, a lively and expressive form of movement that fits every age, body type and fitness level. Belly Dance has roots in Asia, India and the Middle East, but has traveled worldwide during the past century. The movements of belly dance can work for every Body. It boosts confidence and offers a fun way to incorporate movement into your wellness routine. 

Your instructor, Theresa Sherman has studied Belly dance for over thirteen years and is a member of Farfesha, an internationally recognized Belly Dance Troupe. She is a forever student of the art form and committed to the belief that Belly dance is for All Bodies.
