Course Overview

Men are from Mars; women are from Venus—or so we’ve been told. Are there really significant differences between the sexes that could be significant for long-duration space travel? Now that more than 65 women (and 500 men) have spent time in space, we can begin to evaluate any physical or psychological differences that may exist between the two sexes in the space environment. This class will examine those topics in the light of results of current research as well as historical perspectives
