Course Overview

Do you ever ask yourself questions like: “What is my purpose in life?” Why am I here?” What would give me the greatest sense of fulfillment?”

Carl Jung believed that each person has a unique life myth: an underlying pattern orchestrating one’s life; a blueprint behind life’s winding path. If we only knew our own life myths, we could potentially have a source of wisdom and guidance to navigate our way through life. This would be particularly helpful with major decisions and life transitions.

In this workshop, we will use the principles of Process work to explore early childhood dreams and memories, health problems, body wisdom, and recurring life patterns to discover our life myths. Process work is a mind/body approach to awareness based on Jungian psychology, Taoism, and indigenous wisdom.

Herb McDonald has a lifelong fascination with the human body and mind: how they work, ways of facilitating communication between the mind and body, and how to maximize a creative and enjoyable life. He holds a Master of Social Work degree and a Master's degree in Process-Oriented Facilitation.
