5421 - Knitting for Beginners and Intermediates
Course Overview
Have you ever wanted to learn to knit? Knitting allows us to create beautiful, finished pieces to wear, gift and decorate our homes.
Do you have a project that you’ve been wanting to finish? Or maybe a project where you’re stuck and need some help? This class is designed to feel like a knitting group, where we help each other and learn along the way.
Please bring scissors.
Intermediate students: Bring your own projects including pattern, tools and supplies
Beginner students: Supplies and pattern will be provided to create a RAOCK gift, supply fee $15
What You'll Learn
- Learn about knitting supplies and tools, basic knitting terms, techniques and commonly used stitches.
- Learn to read patterns.
- Learn finishing techniques for your knitting projects.
- Beginners will create gifts based on Random Acts of Knitting Kindness.
Who Should Attend
Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit? Want to create beautiful items for yourself or loved ones? This class is for absolute beginners and students who have never finished a project.Additional Information

Beginners: There is a $15 materials fee payable to instructor at first class that will cover supplies and materials you will need to create several gifts.
Intermediates: Bring your own projects including pattern, tools, and supplies.
